Baby acne is a condition that does not affect all babies but only a handful of them around twenty percent of newborn babiesand is known as acne neonatorum in medical language. In this the acne scars or marks known as lesions appear at the time when the baby is two weeks old and goes away when the baby is three months old. When lesions come on the baby skin they appear as small red papules that are mostly concentrated around the cheeks and on the nasal bridge in infants.
